Mud fishing
is exciting and offers action and fun to everybody: |

Go catch your Bone...man! |
|
|
You will ride comfortably to the shallow muds on the south side of
Provo, in our 21-25 ft open fisherman. The boats can accommodate up
to 6 passengers and we usually put together groups of 4 or 5
anglers. Your guide will look for the mud, a cloud of silt,
sand and coral dust that hangs suspended in the water. This is a sign that schools
of bonefish are churning the bottom and feeding. You will then cast the
light tackle spin cast rod, rigged with 6 or 8 pound test line
and baited with jigs, artificial bait and occasionally fresh conch. If
you hook a bone you will experience an extraordinary fight with this fast
swimming and wily fish. |
